I have three of their Amps.  One in my personal pick-up truck, one in the Work pick-up truck and one in my camper trailer. 

Expect to pay around 300 bucks for an amp.  

As far as difference?  Imagine no bars on your phone without the amp, and full bars (or close to full- more than enough for voice and data) with the amp hooked up.</description>
