I’d like a good 8″….just sayin. I really don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m assuming something for the internet. I’m stuck with stupid dial-up so I’m clueless about most of that stuff.

If we’re talking 802.11g, then it’s:
125 feet / 38 meters

If we’re talking 802.11n, then it’s:
230 feet / 70 meters

Of course anything in the way (ex: walls) and how much metal there is around lowers the distance. Generally speaking, routers & boosters with dual antennas are better than those with one antenna.
