I want to get on youtube on my ipod touch. but , I need a password for my wireless . My dad got it like a few years ago and probably doesn’t know the password. I have a linksys , wireless-g with speed booster , 2.4 GHz , 802.11g . Is there a way to find out your password ?

First check with your dad and make sure that it is ok for you to have access to the wireless connection.
You will have to log into the router with a computer that is already on the network.
By default you can get into a Linksys router by opening a web page and typing 192.168.1.1 instead of a web site address. The default user name is blank (do not type anything in the user name box) the defalt password is “admin”
Then go to the wireless tab followed by the security sub tab. Your wireless password will be there. If it is all ***** you will have to change it to a new password.
If the admin password is no longer the default as provided by the other responder, you will not be able to get into the Linksys Router.
If your father did assign a password and cannot remember it, you will need to reset the Linksys back to factory default and to the default password of admin.
As the previous poster suggested, check with your father before reseting the Linksys for the password.
