How do I set up my Linksys Wireless-G notebook adaptor with speed booster to my Acer that has Vista. Its brand new.
I have the stuff downloaded. I have had the booster power up once. It worked great. But, after restarting my notebook, it wont power back up.

I have the Linksys Wireless-G USB adapter that I use on my 3 year old Sony VAIO which doesn’t have wireless built in. There should be an installation CD that came with it. Just run it and it should take care of it all for you. I’m running XP Pro and it was a piece of cake but from what I’ve heard about Vista, that could be the problem. Acer make an excellent machine so I’d take a hard look at Vista. Try contacting Linksys regarding compatibility with Vista. Linksys are also great products but the installation CD may not be updated for Vista.
