I have Sprint’s internet service on my laptop with with their Sierra Wireless USB 598. My signal at home is very poor. How can I get better signal? I was researching the 2.0 USB extension cables and a wifi signal booster, but I am not sure if I can use them. What’s the best way to increase signal on my laptop and wireless usb?

I believe your card is EVDO, and in that case a wifi booster will not help because it’s the wrong frequency for that.
I don’t have a good answer, because signal boosters are not legal to install per the FCC
