Wireless Booster Customer Reviews Here
I have a laptop with an integrated wireless card and the signal is not bad, Im just looking for a way to boost it. One of my friends told me he used tin foil and something else to create his own wireless signal apmlifier/booster. He said this really helped his signal. Anybody have any advice or heard the idea mentioned?

Hmm that sounds kinda ghetto, maybe you need to upgrade your router, where are you connecting to, is this on a home network or is it anywhwere

yes u can place your router into a tin foil bowl, this should help you can also try and replace the ariels on the router box with much stronger ones u can get from most good pc shops.
or you also get whats know as access points that increase the range of any wireless device.
these are the cheapest ways of increasing distance.

You can also Increase the Amplitude of your wireless signal by doing one of the following:

1.) go into the properties of your wireless network
2.) under the general tab, click the configure button
3.) Go to advanced tab
4.) look in the properties listbox
5.) attempt to find a setting that allows you to configure the amplitude of the antenna.

-or-

you can go into your wireless router and change the amplitude of that antenna

1.) open internet explorer
2.) type in 192.168.0.1
3.) default username/password is admin/[blank]
4.) search the settings until you find the option that allows you to change the transmit power/amplitude.

Good Luck!
