		<description>They definitely work as long as they are compatible with your existing wireless router. You can have the booster located halfway between the router and your laptop upstairs. This should in theory boost the signal. I have used the netgear ones as well as the Dlink one so all you need to find is one that is compatible with the 300n-xr.</description>
