Im using a belkin router and have a spare 3com us robotics one, and the problem that i have is that on the far side of my house, where i use one of my laptops, and also i use my ps3, there is very weak signal and the ps3 cannot connect to it, i want to know if, and if so, how can i use the second router to boost the signal to this other room in my house, i cant move my belkin one as the broadband conection in my house is fixed in one place. if anyone could Help…please

Getting a sceond wireless router will not boost your signal more.
I doubt it will do anything to increase your signal or anything. What you could do is invest in another one which has a good range and can give good speeds too.

IF you connect the 2nd wireless router to the 1st wireless router by hard line(ethernet cable)..then yes it would work.
The second router could be closer to the far end of the house and would act as an access point to your existing network…but there is NO way to make this work without having a hard line from router to router.
Forget that idea. Just use a “gain” antenna or if your really need it, a “directional” antenna on the Belkin.
