I need a wireless router that will work on 4 laptops and one computer. I am thinking of adding boosters because it is a 3 story house. I need it to be fast, safe and feasible. I was thinking of the linksys Dual N wireless Router. Is it good?? Is it feasible?

So, I’m looking at wireless routers it seems as though some are faster than others
My current speed w/o wireless is 6-7mbps.
here are my assumptions, please correct me if I don’t have something right.
1) B band is @ 11mbps, G band is 54mbps

have one room in my house that i cannot get a good signal in…unfortunately its mine. can my old linksys wireles receive wifi from the fios modem and rebroadcast as wireless? or does something have to be wired in?
